Wow.. just wow!

I ordered this in March when I got my Kindle Fire HD 8. It was supposed to come on July 1st, but was delayed and I literally just got it tonight! 
It has auto wake and auto sleep and the cover is magnetic. When I close the case it puts the Kindle to sleep. When I open it, the Kindle wakes up. I definitely recommend this.

The Dirty on Billy the Kid

I'm an avid reader and one of the groups I belong in has a published author among it's members.. OK he's also the group owner as well. LOL I'm currently reading his book!

This group is called COLD WEST Detective Agency. It's an amazing little group of retired and current law enforcement, investigators, forensic experts, novice and professional historians and well anyone who wants to join!

They talk a lot about Billy the Kid and what really happened to him. Some believe the legends of his death dying young are false and that he actually died an old man.

It's utterly fascinating! Anything that deals with the Old West, they talk about it! 

The Kid

On Amazon Prime video there's a western called "The Kid".  I enjoyed it though it was a bit violent. I have no problem with the violence because that's pretty much how it was back then. 

I was upset to see Billy's horse get killed. I hate seeing animals get killed, even if it is just a movie and the horse wasn't real. I know, I know. I'm a wuss when it comes to animals getting hurt, even in cartoons! I'm bawling like a baby when I see it. LOL

 I think that the young man that portrayed Billy the Kid did an amazing job in his role. I also will admit to watching it because Chris Pratt was in it... LOL and I will also admit to shedding a few tears when Paulita, Billy's pregnant girlfriend got hysterical when he was killed by Pat Garrett.

It's definitely an eye opener to the ways of life back then. I can only imagine how many family members subjected the women in their families to whore houses. Very sad indeed.

When I was little I used to think that Angel's lived and danced among the clouds. I thought there was an enormous Angel city up there. When someone passed away they went up to the Angel city and watched over their loved ones on earth. If they wanted to see each other they would simply fly from one cloud to another and visit while they watched over their loved ones down below.

African lake that can turn animals into stone

Can you imagine going to a lake and finding stone animals scattered around, and to find out that the lake is what turned them to stone? Yep that’s right there actually is one! This lake is located in Tanzania and is called Lake Natron.
This is a salt lake but it also has high amounts of the chemical called natron in the water along with extreme amounts of alkaline. There are stone carcasses of animals scattered around the lake and sitting in the lake.
There is a stone flamingo sitting in the water, a bat turned to stone and random birds. Definitely worth Googling, this guy went there and put some of the stone animals in positions and took their pictures. It’s crazy.

I love this site! This site is soo easy to use and when you cash out you have a big choice of gift cards to choose from! I always go for the Amazon cash and it's helped with my Quarantine shopping.
I save it up and use it on something from my wish list! I actually just bought a $25 purse using the cash. I paid nothing out of pocket for it.. seriously nothing out of pocket!

The story behind the Ice Bucket Challenge

Folks talk about the Ice Bucket challenge a lot, they challenge their friends and family to do it and laugh hysterically as they hop around after the ice and water hit them. 

Very rarely do you hear of folks talking about the rest of the challenge or how the challenge came to be.. the only folks who have spoken about the true meaning of the Ice Bucket Challenge are the celebrities who have done it.

Some celebrities who have done it are Jared Padalecki, Bill Gates, LeBron James, Jimmy Fallon, Taylor Swift, Chris Christie, Matt Lauer.

The whole challenge is that one person videos themselves doing the challenge and shares on their social media networks. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.. there are so many to use. Before the video is made that person challenges 3-4 people to do it within 24 hours.

If they don't then they have to pay the ALS Association { www.alsa.org/ } $100. A lot of folks who have done the challenge, have also donated their money to this great cause.

He is 29 years old and used to be a college baseball player until he came down with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis which is another name for Lou Gehrig’s disease. This disease attacks the nerve cells within the body. End result is total paralysis and the in ability to speak.

Those who suffer from this horrible disease have a sharp mind, but they are only expected to live among us for between 2 - 5 years starting from the time they were diagnosed.

Happy Independence Day folks!

Fireworks are going off outside like crazy! My bedroom is in the back of the townhouse and the sound is so loud.
It literally sounds like they are going off in my back yard! 

I don’t need to go see the displays when I can hear them going off in the neighborhood. As far as I’m concerned if you’ve seen them once then that’s enough.

They have been shooting them off since the beginning of the big lock down. It's not the nice peaceful fireworks, but the loud Boomers! It's unnerving to sit here in peace and quiet and suddenly a Boom happens and your almost falling out of the bloody chair. lol

Neighbors complain and call the police, but nothing ever happened. Now on a day where it's acceptable to fire them off the police are getting called again I'm sure. Some of my neighbors are elderly and they have pets, as everyone should know dogs are terrified of them.
