And so it begins...

 I got up and hopped on Facebook to see what my pals were up to and was hit smack in the face with so many rants and wah wah's that it was ridiculous. "How dare you not agree with me!" "Obviously you don't know what you're talking about.." and it goes on and on.

I'm so bloody tired of seeing the "Unfriend me if you don't agree with me" bs. How old are we now??? I mean c'mon folks... Whatever happened to having conversations as adults and understanding that we are all allowed to have our own opinions. If we all agreed on a topic then life would be pretty boring don'tcha think?

I have my opinions, but refuse to share them because social media is full of immature people who don't know how to agree to disagree. People seriously need to grow up and understand that someone's opinion may not be valid to YOU, but to them it's valid.

2 reasons as to why the Oscars suck!

It's Oscars night and I'm sitting here at my desk with a cup of hot tea and watching "The Great British Baking Show". I love me some Paul Hollywood and Noel Fielding! The Oscar's are playing downstairs, I can usually hear a celebrity going off on a rampage on most likely some political nonsense for an acceptance speech.

This time though the drama kicked in when Will Smith slapped Chris Rock after he made a very horrid joke about Smith's wife, who shaved her head after suffering from hair loss due to alopecia.
 
Jada Pinkett Smith was sitting in the audience not only was she listening to people laugh at this joke but she had to watch her husband laugh at it. After he laughed he took the liberty of getting up and slapping Rock across the face for making it.
Umm.. hello?? You laughed at it!

In all honesty in my 52 years, I have never sat and actually watched an entire show. If my favorite actors are getting awards, then I head to YouTube the day after and watch the clips of them getting them. These actors and actresses are Legends in the business and there are many more who are as well. 

1. Politics:  The show isn't entertaining at all while the celebs spout their political drabble.  Keep your politics on your social media and off the show. No one wants to hear your views on how the world is today.  Yes, they are allowed to express their views, but in my opinion an award show is no place for them. These shows are meant to be entertaining and not political. Keep your politics for your social media.

2. Deserving & Undeserving Nominees: What really grinds my gears is when there are actors who actually deserve to get an award get bypassed for someone who has no business getting one. There are so many great actors who actually deserved them and so many who actually didn't. Then again if you have the $$ floating around then an award is easy to buy.

This whole topic grinds my teeth to no end. I know of a few YouTubers who reside in Canada who are making some good $$ from this situation. 

They even have merch and bracelets made. So, while they are sitting home in their nice warm houses eating anything they want, and they are able to pay their bills. 

Guess what? There are truckers and others who are actually doing the HARD work and are sitting in that convoy who have lost their jobs and have no way to pay their bills and YOU are making money off of them! There are people who are

YouTubers who are actually out there daily who are there for hours and you are not those people! 

What you are is disgusting human beings.

Your wannabe's who are sitting behind your computer using other people's video's and posting them on your page. OMG Oh, yay!!! You posted a video that someone else posted on their own YouTube page! You're definitely a journalist now!!! 

Facebook needs to put people back in control of the site!

I have gotten flagged for some seriously stupid stuff on the site. For sharing celebrity's posts to my timeline or my groups, to sharing photos of flowers or animals to my timeline or groups. The site is obviously run by bots and not people who will be able to look at the photos or posts and see that they are harmless.

Now it's the end of January and my account is locked for two days because of this photo... 
My friend said that she'd burn the car and she got her account locked. I didn't think that fb would actually consider the word burn a naughty word and I agreed and said I would burn it too because seriously... spiders are just plain evil.

Spiders and I have an unspoken rule... spiders stay away from me and mine and they live to see another day. They stay out of my bedroom, and I won't drown them. Once they step foot in my bedroom, they are goners.

Facebook you need to get your crap together. Guarantee you that folks are getting tired of the bs you're dealing out on there and they will be leaving.

BTW... I was even flagged in November for telling the truth... 

I was flagged for saying "He's got a nice arse." when referring to Henry Cavill and well I mean c'mon have you seen him in his Witcher costume? He absolutely and 100% does!

I keep getting phone calls from people in Nigeria and India. Apparently, the morals in these two countries are seriously lacking because they aren't using them. People with manners prefer to earn their money in an honest manner like, you know GET A REAL JOB!

So, here's the deal...

Here's a few tips when it comes to dealing with these arsewipes.

Yeah, I said that!

On the phone...
When you get a call from someone saying that you owe money HANG UP! Do Not EVER give anyone your bank information! To do this will result in them emptying your account.
On my Android phone I answer the call and then hang up. This will give me the option of blocking that number. I always answer and then immediately hang up and block. Sure, they'll call again under a different number, I swear they're like roaches... disgusting. 

If you get a phone call saying they kidnapped your child or grandchild then hang up and call that person on the phone to see where they are. You will find that nothing actually happened to them at all.

On your social media
You will get messages from them all the bloody time. There are numerous ways you can tell if someone is a scammer... First off... seriously stop looking for love online. They look for ladies and gents who are desperately looking for love.
Look for love in your own town. It's safer that way. Seriously it really is.
They also go after ladies and gents that they deem as plain, not beautiful, etc... desperate for love.
Now please spare the yelling I'm just telling you when I have experienced and heard in my 20+ years online. I do my research folks!

The scammer’s intention is to establish a relationship as quickly as possible, endear himself to the victim, and gain trust. Scammers may propose marriage and make plans to meet in person, but that will never happen. Eventually, they will ask for money.

1. An actual celebrity will NOT message you on social media saying that it's a private account. That's an account run by a scammer. Report the account to Facebook as a scam and then block it. 

2. When a person tells you to send them a friend request then that person is a scammer. They tell you this because if they friend you then they could get flagged as a scammer. So, if you request them first then they're safe.

3.They create fake profiles using someone else's image and information to lure you in. I've had my photo used by a scammer before. They normally use military titles and images or some other well to do image. 

4. Look at the people who like their posts. If there are a bunch a people from Nigeria and India liking their posts then you have a scammer in your inbox.

5. Look in the address bar and see if the name in the profile matches the one in the address bar. Some scammers are idiots and use their actual names when they create the account. They just change the name and content with each new scam.

There are so many ways to figure it out. If in doubt send me an email and I'll look at the profile for you! I have warned so many ladies about scammers and one even yelled at me because I got her boyfriend in Nigeria's account closed... I was just sitting here thinking "WTF..."

Does absence make the heart wander?

An acquaintance posted this on her Facebook, and it left quite a few people a bit irritated... that's just me trying to be polite, but their comments were rather rude. It was all a bunch of blah blah nonsense!
 She had gotten so many comments saying that she was wrong and an equal amount saying how right she is. The comments revolved around relationships. 

"Well, if your love and you were memorable then his heart wouldn't have wandered."

My inner bitch totally came out here. This guy literally told my acquaintance that if she were memorable then her now ex's boyfriend wouldn't have left her while she was on vacay with her family.
This girl is gutted as they were already planning their future and while she was gone, he met someone online and dumped her. He then moved to another state to be with this girl he met online. Who does that??

My advice is to her was to move on. The heartbreak won't last forever, and she will meet someone new who will love her and to him she will be everything.

Personally, I think he had been talking to this girl for a long time because no one in their right mind would just meet someone online and up and move to be with them. I could be wrong on this, but then again... one never knows.

Inventory was fun... said NO ONE EVER and if they did, they LIED!!!

 

I work in retail and boy do I love those special days of the year. 4 to be exact, when we have to do Inventory. No really, I hate it. I think loathe would actually be a better word for my feelings when it comes to this special event.

The winter event comes in January after Christmas... it's always after CHRISTMAS, the one time when we are never prepared! We are more geared to customer servicing the thieves... err... customers and the sales floor staff... all 2 of them are always on register!

We had Inventory on Sunday the 1oth and we worked 5am to 2pm with 1 15-minute break. Do you see something wrong with that or is it just me? I was under the assumption that when you work 6 hours or more you had to take a lunch. 

I just went into the work app and noticed that I was listed as having a half hour lunch when in fact I had none. None of the employees there for Inventory had been given a lunch. I asked numerous times after the 6-hour mark when our lunch was going to be, and I was constantly blown off.

There is a rant coming....

I understand that this arsehole was found dead. Hopefully it was actually him and not someone he murdered aka faking his death. 

His family could have helped him.. they obviously knew where he was since I understand that they were the ones to find his "body" or bones.

If that actually was him then I'm so damn pissed off that he was found dead... he didn't deserve to die like that... he deserved to have his ass landed in prison. He deserved to be passed around as the cell block bitch, he deserved to get a beating every damn day of his life.

Gabby's family deserve to have some closure and with him gone they won't get it. I sincerely hope and pray that his FAMILY are punished for helping him and considering all of the mental abuse he gave Gabby I hope he died a most painful and slow death. 

I'm sorry but...

In my humble opinion Duane "Dog" Chapman wouldn't stand a chance of finding Brian Laundrie if his son Leland Chapman was also looking for him. Hear me out here...

I was a huge fan of the Dog the Bounty Hunter show, and I mean HUGE! I watched every episode as many times as I could. Every time I was home alone, I'd watch the show.

Then I started to really notice things. Very rarely did you see Dog do anything except sit or stand around talking or picking on his kids or Beth.

His children, Leland, Duane Lee and Baby Lisa along with Beth literally did all of the hard work or tracking people down, making the calls, etc... Doggo just stood around watching them do it all and trying to look tough. The show should have been called "The Chapmans" and not "Dog the Bounty Hunter".

While I appreciate that he's looking, he just needs to stop trying to act like he's all that and the top bounty hunter, he is not. He's a tv reality star, his children did the work while he was just the face of the team. Now that Beth is gone, Rest in Peace beautiful lady, he has his new wife working with him. Again, I'm sorry, but how dare you! Do you really think that that is OK?? Seriously?

I lost respect for him as soon as the episode aired with him telling Beth he would never remarry, why because I knew it was a lie. Even Beth knew he wouldn't be by himself for long after she passed. I mean c'mon!

BETH IS IRREPLACEABLE!!!

Alrighty then..

 Well, it seems that the visiting nurse that Mom told she didn't want visiting nursing services cancelled all services. This explains as to why the physical therapist never showed up yesterday. 

Mom only cancelled the visiting nurses and not PT. She was very upset when she found out that there were no physical therapist services set up for her this week. It was all the visiting nurse's fault. She is the one who cancelled the physical therapist services for some bizarre reason.

The only downfall to cancelling the visiting nurses is that Angie won't be coming back around. It was nice having her here talking about diabetes maintenance which is what mom needs.

Angie had also said that cancelling the visiting nurses wasn't really a big deal because the physical therapist will also be taking moms vitals and monitoring her #'s.

I spoke with April, the PT and she said that there was a mix up and mom was discharged from all services and that includes physical therapy. 

I explained the conversation that I had with the nurse and April is going to speak to her manager.

The manager will be able to reinstate mom back into the physical therapy services and she will be here tomorrow between 2-2:30 for physical therapy. 

All visitors will be contacting me for future appointments. I'm off for a cup of tea! Have an amazing day everyone!

Lie's can ruin someone's career...

Last year in October actor Tom Felton was actually accused by some mentally unstable minor of actually grooming her. 

There was a craze on TikTok called #DracoTok and Tom felt like joining in on the fun. He created an account and made some videos himself. 

After getting involved he found himself entangled in nasty rumors that he was grooming a minor. He was unfortunately pulled into her twisted fantasies. 

This child photo shopped fake conversations with him to make it look like he was grooming her, but he wasn't actually involved with that conversation at all.

The cancel culture hit like a cannonball and instead of everyone actually looking for the truth they decided to simply cancel him. This seems to be a very common these with the cancel culture these days. How sad is that?

The girl child finally admitted to faking every accusation she made. She admitted to lying and deleted her account. 

Look I'm all for believing the victims, but it's crap like this that actually make it hard for REAL victims to be believed.  

This is absolutely NOT OK! It's not. Anyone who pulls this crap needs to have charges pressed against them. No matter how old they are they need to be punished. 

Inventory chaos

Welp, I came home from work, ate something and then went to bed. I fell asleep and still heard the sound of the markdown machine that I used to make 10+ over flowing carts and grey shelves of make tags. Hardly any no tickets, just MAKE TAGS!

See our printers are so old that when you print tickets the alignment goes out of whack and you end up with half the barcode missing. So you have to realign your tickets after you print 10 or so tags to get the entire bar code. We need new printers. Our area manager says we need to clean them which we do all the time. The cleaning only ensures that the printers are printing the tickets, it doesn't help with the alignment at all.

After this escapade I can honestly understand as to why we lost so many good managers and assistant managers. We currently have a great store manager and assistant manager, I pray every day that we don't ever loose them due to the stress that tends to live in the store.

They did an excellent job during this inventory. They were on the ball making sure everything was done and best of all they understand about the printer mishap that we deal with because they used the printers themselves and experienced it first hand!

There is no photo for this because I really don't want any reminders of it. So I'm using a random photo of Dean. His words express how I feel about Inventory to a T!

Rant ahead. Sorry.. not sorry...

People are really getting annoying with the constant judgement of Henry. Some people need to get a god damned hobby. Sooo here's a fucking reality check folks...

1. Henry Cavills dating history is none of our damn business and not a single one of us will ever get the chance to date him. Sorry, but that's reality! He is a big boy who can date who he wants to. It's not our job to judge him about that. He is HAPPY so leave. it. alone!

There are so many people in various Henry Cavill groups hoping that his new relationship dies.. this brings out the mean witch in me.. We should all want him to be happy!

2. Henry owes us nothing not a damned thing! The man doesn't have to get on his social media accounts and comment on everyone's comments on his posts. That is NOT disrespectful of him for not doing it! Do you really think that he has time for that nonsense??

Also so what if he goes a couple months without posting. He posts when he can. He has stated that he's not big into social media.

3. Not a single one of us know him so there fore we well NEVER know the truth about what's posted in the media. The media has no problem spinning stories to get those clicks.. Hello.. click bait titles bring the readers!

Henry shares with the world what he wants the world to know. We will never know the truth unless HE reveals it in an interview or on his Facebook. We don't need to know every aspect of his life and nor should he ever have to give his fan's a "heads up" on any upcoming news about himself.

What the bloody hell!?!

 I really, REALLY despise how everyone screams racism these days when it comes to Meghan Markle. In another royal group that I'm in on Facebook someone posted that there is a strong support from the Brits to have Harry get removed from the line of succession. I agree and disagree so yeah.

I also think that they need to get stripped of their titles. They aren't working royals any more so why should they have them? All of a sudden removing titles screams racism is the main cause. What the bloody hell!?! NO what it screams is that they aren't working royals anymore so they don't deserve to have them anymore because they left the Family!

The only reason they are even relevant is because of the titles. The HRH titles are what they depend on when it comes to their business. I mean c'mon.. who wouldn't want to say they were in business with Prince Harry??

I have always and will always be a big supporter of Harry, but this leaving the Family and going to California I am not amused with. I sincerely think it's a really bad idea. Leaving his elderly grandparent's like he did was wrong in my opinion. If they aren't with the Family for the long haul then they don't deserve to have the titles. #sorrynotsorry

Supernatural series finale "Carry On" episode Rant 2: It's all about Dean and Sam

See the thing is is that this show started with Dean and Sam and it should end with Dean and Sam. It's not Dean, Sam and Castiel's show. It's Dean and Sam that matter the most in the end.

While I do understand that Cas is a part of the Winchester's family, the show is just not about him. It's about the Winchester brothers. Everyone else in the series are just back up actors. I'm sorry if you don't like that, but that is how I see it.

Just my opinion. 

Castiel served his purpose and he will forever go down in the history of the show as Dean and Sam's best friend. Jack served his purpose in the show and will forever be known as their "adopted" son, but in the end it's all about the brother's and no one else else. 

Entitled much?

On the Nextdoor app someone was complaining because the menorah wasn't being lit during the holidays. She went so far as to judge someone because they weren't lighting one and only concentrating on a holiday tree. This is her response to him...

"In case you did not know there are Jews who live in Irondequoit and practice their religion!!! I had hoped the people in my town are not living in the 50's. Unfortunately your response once again tells me things have not changed for some in this town and furthermore reflects on what you are!!!!!!!"

So here's the thing... 
Do you know if the owner of the public tree lighting ceremony is Jewish? If he's not then why would he have a menorah lighting? Inclusion is a great thing, but for YOU to demand that they do it because you want it done then that's just.. STUPID! 

There are NUMEROUS religions that are not being represented during the holidays. We don't hear them complaining because they take action and go out and start their own ceremonies. Why you ask?? Because they don't expect other's to do it for them! If it means that much to you that you have to have a menorah lit, then you will move mountains to get it to come to be. Get a permit to hold a public gathering to light the menorah where everyone can gather and celebrate. It can be done, action just has to be taken! BTW.. I did a little looking.. The Town of Irondequoit has a daily Menorah lighting during the holiday in the Gazebo next to a Xmas tree.

Supernatural series finale "Carry On" episode Rant 1: Fandom Juveniles verbally attack Jim Beaver

 

I have held off on this post because I am still a wee bit upset by some of the actions by the fandom regarding the final episode. See they didn't get their own way so they are rebelling and acting like immature children.

Why? Because Castiel wasn't in the final episode and Bobby Singer was. LOL How funny is that reason to verbally abuse an actor who was on the show. a much LOVED actor as well! 

So they go on Twitter and verbally assault Jim Beaver, there were even a few death threats tossed out. While Jim says he wasn't bullied, I see it as he was. He even went so far as to delete his Twitter account.
 
I love Jim, he's an amazing actor and I have great respect for him. The kind of verbal abuse he received was totally uncalled for. He went in and did his JOB, he did what he was paid to do. Believe it or not it's what actor's do when they are hired to play a part. They do their job.  

He says that he wasn't bullied and that he didn't cancel his account because of bullying. While I saw bullying, he saw something different.  Just a matter of different perspectives. To me it looked like bullying. His reason was an admirable one. He was having a hard time holding his tongue so he felt it best to just leave. He shouldn't have had to endure that abuse in the first place.

You ARE allowed to have your own opinion to feel your own emotions, but when you're being toxic about those feelings and emotions and forcing them on other's then it's NOT OK. Not OK at all!
No one is right and no one is wrong. We have come to the end of the show and everyone is emotional about it and that is understandable, but it needs to be remembered that how you treat people is your Karma. 

My thoughts on Destiel : Edited on 12/2/20

 So Castiel broke down crying and told Dean that he loved him. Ye God here we go again. The Destiellers are shouting from the rooftops because they finally got their beloved Destiel genre is cannon. Cannon mean's that it's a part of the whole fandom. lol  

Then they got elated even more when Misha Collins aka Castiel said that Cas was gay and there is Destiel. Umm ok , but in my opinion it's not truly cannon until Jensen says that Dean was gay and we all know that he's NOT even close to it. 

See Cas told Dean that he loved him before he was dragged to the Empty. I'm sure his reasoning was that he figured he wouldn't see Dean again and wanted to get that off his chest.  I see it as he told Dean he loved him because he considered Dean to be his best friend and brother.

Until Jensen Ackles confirms Destiel then I don't consider it to be cannon to the show.

OK so I watched a few episodes that were recommended to me with a different perception and I do see instances where Dean did exhibit some attraction towards men. I didn't see it before because to me Dean has always been the ladies man and he was never seen in any kind of romantic relationship with a man. I know just because you don't see it, it's not there. To me though it's always been that way. 

I re-watched the episode "Changing Channels" as suggested and he was a bit star struck by Dr. Sexy. Now it could be a case of him being a fan of the show which is says is a guilty pleasure, or it could be him being attracted to the good Dr. It could be anything, it could mean anything it doesn't mean that Dean is attracted to men, but that is an option. Again it could be seen either way. 

Have you ever met an actor or actress you were a huge fan of and got star struck just looking at them? No.. Yes? This instance could be the same thing.  We will never truly know.
