To Whom it may concern,

As I sit here and await the new year I reflect back on my life as it has been thus far. I am currently 52 years old and have had a pretty uneventful life.

Honestly, I never thought I would reach 52. I have mentioned this a few times in this blog and will continue to do so sporadically throughout the posts.

I have been an avid follower of the Royal Family ever since Lady Diana's marriage to Prince Charles. I was 12 years old and completely enthralled by this fairytale marriage. I dreamed of finding my own Prince and living in a beautiful castle in the country I love the most. Great Britain. I may be American by birth, but my heart has always belonged to Great Britian, and it will forever be so.

I was up bright and early for the wedding sitting in front of the tv as close as I could get, without getting yelled at by my parents. There was a blanket wrapped around me and I held my breath as I listened to the music and waited for my favorite Princess to show up at the cathedral.

After the wedding my heart was so full of joy and happiness. Princess Diana was so beautiful, and I prayed that someday when I grew up that I would be able to meet her. I did school reports on the Family and would dream about meeting her and just listening to her talk about her charities and why she chose them. She made my darkness not seem so dark.

The morning that Princess Diana died felt like the end of the world for me and for many of her loyal followers. I have always thought that as long as Princess Diana was alive the world had a chance. As long as she was alive then no matter what happened things would be ok. Because she was the people's champion. See she chose to put people first over the other charities that were put in front of her.

Like me, she had her flaws and through each flaw I adored her unconditionally. She made me realize that it's ok to be flawed. It's ok to not be perfect. It's just ok to be real. I miss her every single day. I miss seeing she smiling you know the real smile she has on her face when she was with her boys. I miss hearing about her charities, since her death you very rarely hear about them in the news anymore. This to me is so sad.

Though I don't know them personally I do love both of Diana's boys as an extended part of my heart. I love them unconditionally as I loved her. I miss seeing William and Harry together laughing and talking. I miss seeing them doing outing together, I miss seeing them joke around with each other and I miss seeing them acting like... Brother's.

Life has a way of screwing with us at times. We tend to lose track of what really matters to us and once we lose touch with that it's so hard to try to get it back. No matter how hard you try there is always something hindering it. I am constantly being told "You can't love them both unconditionally considering everything that's happened between them." But I can and I do, and I will continue to do so until the very last breath I take.

They are her boys; they are her loves. They are the reason she worked so hard to make this world a better place. They are an extension of her. I look back at all that she had done that wasn't perfect. Her boys are not perfect either. They are both flawed, but I believe that deep down they truly do love each other. Their story together is yet to be finished and I pray that their mother is watching over them and their families and guiding her boys together again.

Only some people become successful.
Only some people ever lose the weight. Only some people go after their dream job. Only some people get out of debt. Only some people have savings. Only some people purchase their house. It’s not because those things don’t exist or are only available for the chosen/lucky/blessed kind of people ... it’s because only SOME will actually CHOOSE to do them.
There is opportunity every where you look.

Was she or wasn't she?

I belong to a group on Facebook and the ladies in this group believes that Princess Diana was murdered. Some ok almost all of them believe that the Family had her killed because she was a "threat" to the Family. If anything she was a HUGE asset to the Family. She brought the empathy that the rest of the Family didn't have.
Personally I'm not sure what to believe.. I would like to believe that this was a horrible accident, but there are so many questions and not enough answers.

Here are a few questions I have..

Why was Princess Diana's seat belt undone, when her own sister says that she used them "religiously"?

Why did several witnesses report a "bright flash" in the Alma Tunnel seconds before the car began to crash?

Why was the white Fiat Uno never found, or even properly followed up on?

Why did James Andanson commit suicide afterwards, and how did he manage to shoot himself in the head twice, dispose of the gun and bullets, and then decapitate himself?

Why was Le Van Thanh, another suspected driver of the white Fiat Uno, ordered by French police not to discuss the incident?

Why was Diana and Dodi's bodyguard, the only survivor of the crash, a known MI6 asset?

If the Mercedes was being pursued by paparazzi, why did none of them see the crash?

Please let their be a Schitt's Creek Spin Off!

The show is over. Moira and Johnny Rose are back in California and David and Patrick are living in a beautiful house in Schitt's Creek. Alexis is in New York City and Stevie is still running the Rose Bud hotel.

There seriously needs to be a spin off about those who stayed in Schitt's Creek. I mean seriously David and Patrick should have a series all to themselves because those two just crack me up with David's drama queen ways! It can be called "The Rose Apothecary" or something like that.

Alexis would make a great spin off as well. I mean really can you imagine a spin off around her it would be hilarious! She could meet up with Mutt and they could hook up and she could move back to the town because Mutt is giving in and he's going to be Mayor of the town.

The shenanigan's these two siblings would bring to this town now that the parent's are away are positively endless!

3 things to remind yourself today

1. You are Amazing and You've got this!

2. Always start your day with a grateful heart and a smile.

3. Don't give anyone else the pen to write your story.

The world is a crazy place right now.

The world is a crazy place right now.
Just remember that there will be good days as well as bad days,
but we should be grateful for them all.

Be grateful that you woke up this morning,
some were not fortunate to do so.
Be grateful that you have arms to hold your babies and legs to walk them to the park or around the block.

There are some who are missing limbs and are unable to do those things.

You see each day, each moment is a blessing,
and what you do with your blessings determines how you will be blessed.

Choose Happiness

No one will ever care about your dreams more than you do.
No one will ever believe in you more than you will.
If you want something bad enough—that should be in your own initiative to make it happen for yourself.

You are the secret to your own success and you have the power to make
yourself better than you were yesterday.

Take the course in which you feel is best and don’t let others change that.
Follow your heart and choose your YES!

I’ve chosen mine and I’m here from, not only those who encouraged me -
but those who expected me to fail. Every ounce of this journey I’m thankful for.

It’s OK to go down a different path in life than the one everyone else ‘expects’ you to go down!
Follow your gut and chase your dreams!!

Stay Strong

It's always a good idea to do some personal development when you feel like you're in a rut.

How I stay sweat proof at night

While going through menopause I tend to sweat more than I like, especially at night.
There's nothing more uncomfortable than trying to sleep on sweat soaked sheets, especially when you have to get up early for work in the morning.

I have a few things that help me and here they are...

1.} I have a fan that faces the bed and is turned on at night. No matter what the weather is like outside, and my bedroom window is open 24/7, even during the coldest part of the winter, I'm nice and cool in bed every night.

2.} Normally I only sleep with a top sheet. If I'm really hot then I'll lay on top of the sheets and I always use 100% cotton sheets.

3.} Sleepwear varies. Most of the time I simply sleep in a tank top and that's it. It really depends on how hot I am at the time. A cotton t-shirt on all other night's.

I always have a bottle of water next to my bed as well. I tend to wake up a lot and drink, especially during the spring and summer.

The Pack Horse Library

One thing I have been doing to pass my time during this quarantine is to catch up reading some books that I bought, but never got around to reading. So far I am currently reading a book called "The Heir of Ra" by Maciek Sasinowski. It's an adventure story with and Egyptain mythological twist to it. These days it's easy for us to log onto the internet and buy books that we want to read or we can get them for free on Kindle. Personally I'd rather read a physical book and get lost in the story than read one on a Kindle, but that's just me.

I was reading online about a pack horse library. I kid you not!! During the Great Depression there were actually women who rode on horseback delivering books to people. From 1935 to 1943 the Works Administration had librarians who delivered books to people who were in locations that were not easy to get to. These people had no access to the library so they delivered books to them!

Some of these absolutely amazing ladies even stayed and read some of the books to those they delivered to. This program was in 45 states and had 15,000 employees!

Right now the internet is our pack horse library. We order books from Amazon and other stores and there are places online where you can have stories read to you!

Bragging has it’s penalties

I was reading through an old handwritten journal and reliving some amusing memories. Here’s one from a few years ago.

My mum went to eat with her boyfriend at Applebee’s. One of the regulars that they befriended there sits at the bar and plays the lotto all the time. This is a nightly routine for him. From what I was told he will spend at least $500 a night if he makes good earnings the night before. If he get’s a large amount in his winnings with the numbers, he brags to the folks at the bar rather loudly at that.
Well he went to a funeral out of town and came home to find that his apartment was robbed. He had some expensive things there that were stolen. Don’t get me wrong, I feel bad because he was robbed… no one likes to come back from a families funeral and deal with more bad news. I told my mum that he is one who likes to brag about his winnings and I’m sure he told the wrong person and was robbed.
I feel that it’s OK to talk to your friends about it, but don’t broadcast it out for everyone in a bar to know! You never know who is in there and who is really your friend.

Dear Humans on this beautiful planet of ours...

As everyone know's things are rough right now and at a time when we should all be working together, we are once again working against each other. ðŸ¤¦‍♀️🤦‍♂️We should all be lifting each other up, instead of holding down. What needs to happen in order for people to understand this? Please tell me!

We are ALL human, we ALL have feelings, needs, we ALL bleed red. We ALL come from the same divine ðŸ’« source. We could accomplish so much if everyone worked together. We could overcome so many obstacles just by working together.

The hate is so strong that it tends to get suffocatingly overwhelming. Let's turn that hate into compassion, turn it into love. I refuse to join the Cult of Hatred.

I don't care what color you are, You Matter!
I don't care if you are a member of the LGBTQ, You Matter!
I don't care what country you came from, You Matter!

I refuse to hate the POLICE because of the actions of those bad cops. {For the record.. as far as I'm concerned if you kill someone intentionally then you deserve a life sentence.}

🤚 I refuse to hate the MUSLIMS because of the actions of a few bad ones.

I refuse to hate BLACK people because of the color of their skin.. THAT is a stupid reason to hate someone might I add.. I mean c'mon.. wtf??

I refuse to hate, I'd much rather care about everyone instead.

Home Mani and Pedi Tips

A few things I have discovered while giving myself mani and pedi's at home is that unless you really know what you're doing it can be a huge mess!

Here's a few things I do myself...

~ Roll the bottle of polish between your fingers and don't shake it! Shaking it causes the polish to have bubbles in it. Those bubbles will show up on your nails!

~ Before I polish my nails and use a cuticle oil and push my cuticles back. Doing this makes my nails look so much nicer.

~ I apply polish in 3 layers...

Bottom coat : My base coat is also doubled as the top coat as well. It's by Essie called the
Color : MY current favorite color is by Essie and is called Ballet Slippers

Top coat : Essie's
All in one base coat + top coat + strengthener doubles as a top coat as well.

~ Depending on the color I always apply two coats. I do the sides first and then the center. Apply the polish in even strokes for a seamless finish.

~ I use a q tip and nail polish remover to wipe up any messes.

A Social Media Detox is Necessary!

As crazy as this sounds considering I work part time as a social media influencer on Facebook, it's necessary to take a much needed social media detox.
I know it sounds hard considering most time's we're glued to our phones as soon as we wake up.
Once I wake up I just check messages, I don't get on Facebook until after I'm up and I've had my second cup of coffee.
I think during this lock down a detox from the internet would be a good thing with all of the false news floating around.

When I do it I will usually spend my day doing random stuff around the house and  then take time to bury my nose in a book with a cup of hot tea sitting next to me.
How do you detox from social media?

Well bless their hearts...

I really need to know how you all stay awake during this quarantine! I mean seriously... ever since this thing started I've just been sleeping a lot and it's hard to stay awake.
I've had shows playing on my Kindle and Twitch with some of my favorite gamer's playing in hopes of trying to stay awake, it's just not working.
I'm literally sleeping through my work alarms and missing meetings because I'm sleeping so much.

So a few days ago I reported a scammer on  Facebook for being fake one and his "internet girlfriend" messages me for having her internet bf's Facebook deleted. According to her "He was real dag nabit!"
This is what I get for messaging her that he was a scammer and his Facebook  was a fake profile and that I reported it as such. Next time I won't be nice and give advanced warning. These scammers are hitting up the elderly single ladies.
C'mon...not every man is divorced and military and looking for elderly ladies to have as internet girlfriends.. seriously ladies.. get your heads outta your butts and research the page!
When it said that the profile picture was updated the words above the photo were " Blah blah updated HER profile." yet the info is for a GUY! These people.. I swear...

Guess what?

Facebook is filled with people being concerned about this COVID-19 and being told to stop over reacting and that this isn't as bad as the media makes it out to be.

To them they aren't over reacting, they are having a full blown anxiety attack and you telling them to stop will make it 100% worse and you can take this from someone who has anxiety and knows this to be true.

When you tell someone to stop over reacting you are telling them that their feelings are in fact invalid. Their feelings don't matter, but that yours do.

You don't know their situation. Are they quarantined alone or do they have someone else with them? I have my family with me so it's not hard for me to deal with. I do know of some who are alone with not even a cat or a dog to keep them company.

While hearing someone's voice on the phone is good, it's nothing compared to having a pair of arms wrapped around you assuring you that everything will be OK and that you will be OK because you're not alone... some people are actually alone through this!

This is one of those moments where you need to put yourself in their shoes and really think about how you would feel if you were dealing with this alone. How would you feel if some one just told you to deal with it? Guarantee you... you wouldn't like it very much.

If you can't emotionally support someone during this pandemic on social media through a few kind and encouraging words, if you are unable to share some kindness and compassion for someone who truly needs it then do them a favor.. just shut up and scroll past.

This makes my heart smile...

I hopped onto Twitter and found something that just made my day! My all time favorite beauty guru Jeffree Star is helping his fans during this difficult time. He's sending them money to help with the bills and what not.

This is an absolutely amazing thing to do. I have yet to see another celebrity do this for their fans.
This man has been through a ton of shit this year and you know what? He's still here rocking his multi million dollar business that HE built up from the ground.

He is my inspiration to build mine up. Yeap money super tight right now, but I'm not going to let it get to me. I have to keep moving and see how he takes care of his fans like this makes me want to push my 50 year old ass harder.

I really wish he would write a book about his life. I would be one of the first one's buying it!
I know he will never read this, but Thank you for everything you do for your fans.
You are appreciated more than you will ever know.

These lights are a brilliant reminder to everyone that there is still hope for the future so shine your lights with the rest of us!
