OMG.. LOL

I really can't believe I bought these ugly shoes. I also can't get over how bloody comfortable these shoes actually are!

They look uncomfortable,  but that is seriously misleading as they are like walking on a cloud.

Well maybe a bumpy cloud... LMAO!

Madison's graduation party!

Today was Madison's graduation party in Penfield at Lanier Park. It was a nice party a lot of people came and there was pizza, cake, chips and dip, fruit & veggies... stuff like that.

There are some little guys selling lemonade iced tea and and freeze pops at the main drive coming into the complex.

I went and grabbed myself a iced tea and paid $4 for it. Mind you it wasn't a full cup, it was half way full, but let me tell you something...  those four fellas were all excited yelling that they had drinks and snacks for sale.

I was more than happy to shell out $4 for a small cup of iced tea. $1 for each of them even though my iced tea was literally a dollar, but hey gotta support the little guys.

The Flash musings

I am so elated because Oliver Queen AKA The Green Arrow is back on the flash mind you it's only for like two episodes but Ollie is back and he is a total badass!
When he first died I was absolutely devastated because he is my favorite, but it's nice to see that they brought him back for the very end of The Flash show.

Just got done watching the last episode of The Flash. While I'm a big fan of this show, I'm not a fan of the character Iris.
For some reason to me she comes off as being snotty and I'm just not sure how I feel about her.
She's considered herself to be an "alpha" only because she's married to Barry aka the Flash, but she's actually just.... I don't know the wife and that's pretty much it.
The actress who portrays Iris,  Candice does an amazing job and she's a great actress. Alas the character Iris is not one that I find to be a good one... I find her to be kind of annoying.

Dump the ego

A good paranormal investigator flips off the ego. Most investigators go to a location to learn and or help. If you go in with an ego, you're only going for your own needs and no one else's.

Ye Gods....

My bus driver was not happy with me because I walked up the road to meet my bus where he was parked.
He was 10 min early so he parked to give me time. I thanked him and told him that I didn't mind getting picked up early.
It's been almost 10 minutes on the bus and he's still annoyed because the app showed that he was parked and not moving.
I've made it perfectly clear that I don't mind getting picked up early and that I am always up and dressed before I get the 30 minutes away notification. I told him this and he was still upset.

I've gone small!

If you know me then you know that I tend to carry suitcases for a purse. But today I decided to go small. I've never gone this small before.
Most of my purses have always been huge big because I've always carried my planner with me and or my journal and my planner is rather big aaannndddd so is my journal because I like to do a lot of writing.

As you can see by the above photo there is literally no room in there for either so I have to get a smaller notebook to carry in the back pocket of the purse or I just carry my journal with me separately in my hand which isn't beginning inconvenience, but I'm always worried that I just might lose it if I am carrying it.
And yes just in case you noticed that is a flask in my purse it's full of collagen powder.

Derry Girls!

I've been watching this show on Britbox. It's a great little show and to be honest I didn't think I was going to like it, but I do.
I know I'm going to end up binging it all over again in the future, but for now they need to come up with more episodes.
They did end it at a good place but it's time to bring the girls back and show us their life after as adults.
Like who got married?
Who had kids?
Who went where?
Who did what?
What are their careers?
Or even if you show their children going to the same school that they went to. I would definitely watch it and I know a lot of other people who would watch it too.

Even grandmothers can be bullies!

Today a mother, grandmother and 4-year-old came into the store to get a dress and a pair of shoes for Easter.

I was thoroughly shocked yet what I had witnessed and it was all I could do to not ask the grandmother to leave the store. The grandmother literally was bullying her granddaughter because she could not put a pair of shoes on.

She stood there calling her granddaughter and not so many words stupid saying she had the IQ of an infant who was just brought home from the hospital and she blamed it all on her father and his side of the family because they baby her.

Now what they didn't take into consideration was that maybe her shoes were hard to put on her she would slide her feet in but she would crunch her toes up so she couldn't get her shoe on all the way and you know.. instead of sitting in the store yelling at her, you should take her home and sit on the couch with her and BE PATIENT and teach her that way. There's no reason to yell at a child because they can't put their shoe on!

The mother literally just stood watching. I could tell that she was frustrated, there were a few times where she had her hands over her face out of embarrassment because of what her mother was doing. I kind of felt sorry for her, but then as a mother you should not allow that to happen to your child.

I mean maybe she dealt with that growing up maybe her mother bullied her growing up, but that would have been the perfect time to break that cycle and tell her mother you will not bully my child the way you bullied me! She should have picked her daughter up and left the store.

I would have loved to see the father make a random appearance and hear everything the grandmother was saying and have watch him take his daughter away. Now that would have been pretty cool.

I have actually seen a few fathers walk in well they're well their children were getting mistreated by their mothers and they literally rescued their children picked them up and said let's go and left the mothers to find a way home.

One mother I saw smack a crying infant cuz the infant and the father had literally just walked into the same aisle they were and he saw it. He picked up the baby and walked out of the store and left her with her shopping cart she had to find a way home.

Why are so many British people so rude and critical about the United States?

Speaking the truth is not being rude or critical it's being honest. The United States is a s*** show… and this is coming from someone who is American. If I had the funds to, I would definitely be moving out of America.

I'm done being overtaxed, I'm done paying taxes so rich folks can live in comfort as they run our country. I'm done with the racial divide, I'm done with everything.

I've actually gotten to the point where I'm embarrassed to say that I live in America. And that's because I know that other countries see our country as a joke.

Despite my love for Britain, I've always been a patriotic American, but there's only so much a patriotic American can put up with and they start losing hope for a better future in the country that they once loved.

Inspire others through your story.

 This is very true.

I've heard so many people say that they were inspired to change their lives because of someone else's story that they have heard.

Sometimes no matter what you're going through just to know that someone else went through it and succeeded to overcome what they went through is inspiration enough to help you keep pushing forward.

In essence their story becomes your Survival Guide.

I don't ever want to do that again.

I received a subpoena last week week and I had to go to court and testify before a grand jury today as to what happened on Black Friday with three ladies who ran out of the store with merchandise. Would rather unnerving when I walked into the room where I had the testify there was on 15 people sitting in at desks staring at me.
I told them everything I remembered answered questions and then afterwards Mel and I went back to work and worked the rest of the day. As we were walking out I told the attorney was nice to meet you and you know I'm glad this is over and she said if we go to court then it's not over we'll have to be back to testify again. Needless to say I'm not a happy campers about that!
My day was off because I was up pretty much all night stuck in my head worried that I was going to say the wrong thing or something was going to go wrong that I said. I was up pretty much worrying and overthinking.. I'm pretty good at overthinking unfortunately I really need to stop. I slept for about an hour last night and I'm exhausted.

I talk to myself

I'm constantly telling people to just ignore me when they walk up on me and I'm talking to myself.

I tend to talk to myself everyday mostly because I do it to help myself figure stuff out or to work through a problem or something like that.

Most of the time I'm saying things like "WTF", "I need more water", "bloody hell", "ugh",

I think talking to yourself is pretty healthy, did you know that 96% of people have an inner dialogue with themselves.

I tend to think in words and that is inner dialogue. So I guess I have a lot of inner dialogue with myself.

“Talking out loud to yourself can motivate you to move forward with your goals, help you focus on a task at hand, and combat self-criticism."
~ Gary Lupyan from University of Wisconsin-Madison calls this phenomenon “feedback hypothesis.”  quoting Google

Do you think Prince Charles owe an apology to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle?

To this I say Nope. King Charles is not and has never been a perfect father and nor has he ever claimed to be one. I think he tried to do his best after Diana died. Charles wasn’t exactly raised in a loving household by his parents. He was raised by nanny’s and I believe that the only affection he ever got was from The Queen Mother.

Harry should be the one who should be apologizing to his father and to the British people for the lies he’s spilled about them all. His wife should be apologizing to the royal family, who welcomed her with open arms. If she wasn’t welcome then she would NOT have been allowed to celebrate Christmas at Balmoral with the family and nor would Charles have walked her down the isle at the wedding.

They threw so much away and now that those bridges are burned they are struggling and loosing popularity. I do feel bad that they chose to take this route, bad for the royal family that is, but then again everything is always someone else's fault and not theirs. They need to take responsibility for what they have done, that is the first step. Next one is to relinquish those titles they feel so entitled to use to make money. They would be nothing without them.

What I learned this week...

It was a seriously annoying day. At work I am one that some folks go to for venting their anger and frustrations out.
Not once do I ever relay their vents to a manager or supervisor because I know that they need to get that frustration and negative thoughts off their chest and out of their heart.
I listen intently and give whatever advice I feel is needed with no judgement. I simply listen and let them pour their hearts out.

I made the huge mistake of venting to the wrong person, to someone who I thought of as my friend. She in turn went and spilled my frustrations to the manager I was venting about. That manager didn't need to know what I said, it was simply a way for me to get that frustration off my heart and out of my head. Everyone needs to vent.. Right?

I am heartbroken. This person is someone whom I considered to be a good friend. That friendship is forever broken and for the life of me I will never be able to forgive her broken trust. I know she did it for her own gain to make herself seem better in the eyes of the managers, but after everything I've done for her emotionally and financially.. I'm just shattered.
Her phone# is out of my phone and I'm no longer going the extra mile for her at work like I used to.

So what have I learned this week? I learned that there are snakes in the grass at my work. They will be your friend to your face, but have no problem stabbing you in the back when it's to their own gain.

The Grammys Goes to Hell?

So many people are freaking out over the Grammy's performance by Sam Smith and his singing partner Kim Petras of his song "Unholy'. I haven't seen it at all so I'm literally going by what I hear other's say.

I've heard the performance being described as a Satanic orgy a few times and other's just say he's portraying Satan by wearing horns, etc.. and he's dancing around in "Hell" with women portraying long haired demons.

There are folks who will see the negative in everything. This was simply a performance.. a bit of oomph. I've seen music video's that are by far worse than what other's are describing here.

I have heard conspiracy theories that Hollyweird is a cesspool of satanic celebrity elites who sacrifice children to retain their youth, etc.. and all of these performances are elite satanic rituals.

Oh what webs we weave...

In the Heat of the Night tv series

I can remember sitting with my Dad watching this show all the time. He was always big into police shows and we certainly watched a lot of them together.

What I really love about this show is that they touched up on the social issues that are still taking place to day. A big thing they touch up on is racial discrimination.

 The Sparta police force was strictly made up of white officers until Detective Virgil Tibbs{ bottom right} came to join them. After that, they began to hire more black police officers! {See photo}

The characters are great, I must say that my favorite is Bubba Skinner. lol {far right} He's the show's tough guy and ladies man.
I would love to see a new series with him in charge as Chief Skinner.

The Yacht Girl Chronicles?

I was surfing through Quora and came across a post about Meghan Markle being a yacht girl 'aka' a low level actress or model who were paid to lounge around on millionaire's yachts with the rich and famous and that Prince Andrew is one of those rich guys that she "serviced" with her bits and bobs.

There are some images of her floating around on the web from her yacht girl days and in one of them showed Meghan and what looks to be like Prince Andrew. The images were supposedly taken on Epstein's yacht. I'm not going to post them because I have no proof that they're legit.

I mean it's true that Andrew was an acquaintance of Epstein. They're saying that she's using that as leverage to get into the family and as black mail.

Sound far fetched? Yup!
Could it be true? Yup!
Is there actual evidence? NOPE!

I would think that Queen Elizabeth II would have not allowed the marriage to take place if there was blackmail involved. Surely the family could have overcome this scandal, they tend to just wait them out and they soon vanish.

Mind Your Manners

I would love to recommend a series on Netflix called "Mind Your Manners". Instructor is Etiquette Instructor Sara Jane Ho. I have watched this twice so far and will most likely be watching it again.
I learned so much from this show and that it's not about showing perfection, but it's about becoming your better self. I'm working on improving myself through proper etiquette and this show has given me some much needed tips and tricks.
Topics included getting back your confidence, fashion, make up, exercise, business marketing tips, hair makeovers, afternoon tea kindness, new meal plans and so much more!

Childhood dreams that never came true.

When I was younger I had formed some childhood dreams that never came to be.
I dreamed of being a house wife with 2 kids and a house with a white picket fence.. although now it would be a large wrought iron fence to keep the crazies out.

I wanted a front porch that my "hubby" and I would sit on during the evening and watch the sun set before heading off to bed.
I wanted to have a son first and then a daughter and a couple pups and cats running around with the children.

I wanted to be a writer and publish the novels that ran around in my head. I literally have at least 4 going in there right now. At night I pick one and work it out story wise until I fall asleep. A few of these novels come to me from dreams or past memories. I have so many amazing dreams that I feel the need to create stories from them at time's.

My current life at the moment is complete opposite of that childhood dream. There is no house, no hubby and no kids. There is only me sitting alone in my bedroom while my brother sleeps across the hall and my mom lays downstairs watching the blaring tv.
I don't have the house, the hubby or the children and I'm actually OK with that.
I know this sounds pathetic, but I don't really need them as I am content to be by myself.

I need to learn to love myself and care for myself better.
I need to learn to live for myself and not solely for other's.
I need to learn to let shit go that doesn't serve my best interests.
I need to learn to dream again.

I do write though so I do have that.

Inventory Chaos 1/12 thru 1/13

1/12/23
: Inventory day 1 went by smoothly not a whole lot of make tags from what I saw. While we usually have at least 3 gray shelves full of them while scanning linens, we had at least 1. The youth and baby apparel had a few, half a rack combined.
I have to be to work at 6am and here it is 2:38am and I'm wide awake! I'm making my coffee and eating some breakfast before day 2 begins.
#imsoexhausted #itsrainingagain #iloverainydays

1/13/23: Inventory day 2 went by without very few issues. I was able to work it on about 2 hours sleep.. my 5am bus never showed up, the ride was cancelled because the driver was unable to find me.. I ended up scheduling a Lyft and got to work 15 minutes late, but I arrived.
The day went by so much smoother than last year in June. There was literally NO stress to be found and we were out earlier than last June. It was great.
