Pagan Veiling

 

A former coworker who literally only lasted 1 day came in with a headscarf on and refused to take it off saying it was part of her religion, she actually was NOT asked to take it off as my boss simply asked her the meaning behind wearing it. She said she was pagan and she started in on my boss in a very rude way about that Pagans wear veils for protection. 

I AM a Pagan and I was absolutely offended at the way this child acted. I call her a child because she acted like one. Some of my coworkers know that I'm a Pagan and were baffled because I literally have never heard of veiling for protection. So I came home and did some research on it. 

What is Pagan veiling?

Pagan veiling is the act of fully or partially covering one’s head, there are no right or wrong ways of veiling. It all comes down to personal choice. So the reasons for veiling are various, each person has their own reasons for doing so... in essence it's a personal choice. 

~ To connect with their chosen Deity. 
~ Some do it to cover their crown chakra to protect their energy and powers.
~ Some wear the head scarves as a connection to their craft and to honor their ancestors.

The Little Applebee's Ghost

Meet the Applebee's Ghost. Back in March 05, I was at the restaurant with some friends and my family. My friend's daughter Allison was playing around with my camera phone and snapped the picture on the left. 

On the way to there I had asked my friend Sarah, who is a medium, if ghosts could follow someone home.  She said Yes, and this little one decided to give me an answer herself.

I believe this is the spirit of a young girl who hangs around the daycare I used to work at.

I do know that she is at my home quite a bit. My oldest niece Morgan has seen her in my bedroom.
When I got home that night a friend took the image and brightened it.

Morgan and I found that her name is Isabella when we used the pendulum. I found out a month or two before she found out her name.

Mount Hope Cemetary [June 2008]

I went to Mount Hope cemetery in June of 2008 and here are the pics I had taken. 
My friends Steph and Jen and I took a tour and enjoyed walking around then driving around after it had gotten dark.

I love how peaceful the cemetery was once the sun went down. So beautiful!

In some of the photo's you can see the spirit orbs moving around. I know you're most likely thinking that they're bugs, but bugs don't give off their own light actual spirit orbs do!

Just look at these with an open mind and enjoy them if not for the spirit activity then for the beautiful scenery.

This fenced area was actually a child's grave. It had some flowers planted inside of the fence on top of the grave. 

My favorite New Years Rituals

With 2020 over it's time to bring in some positive energy to the new year. Focusing on the positive of 2021 is a great thing to do. I mean who needs to remember all of the negative crap that was 2020? 

At midnight I did a little ritual and prayer for a positive 2021 filled with love, laughter and new beginnings and that led to meditation.

I wrote down my goals and intentions on a piece of paper and placed them under a burning yellow candle. If you don't have yellow then white will work fine as well. 

I have a bowl of pink Himalayan salt in my bedroom with bay leaves in it to cleanse the negative energies of the past.  Each month I flush the salt and then replace it with more salt and bay leaves.  I have some sage incense that I burn as well and waft it around my room. 

Greek Goddesses : Aphrodite

Aphrodite is a Love Goddess in the Greek Pantheon. She is also the Goddess of beauty, pleasure, and procreation. According to Hesiod, the Greek Goddess arose from the sea foam after Uranus’s genitals were cut off and tossed into the sea.

She is associated with.. sea, dolphins, doves, cypress, daisy, swans, pomegranates, apples, myrtle, rose and lime trees, clams, marjoram, olive, rose, scallop shells, myrtle and pearls, cinnamon, iris.

She is the daughter of the Greek God Zeus and the Goddess Dione.

Aphrodite had numerous lovers, among both the humans and the Gods as well. Among her human lovers were Adonis and Anchises, while her lovers among the Gods were Ares, Dionysos, and Hermes, as well as her husband Hephaistos.

Alter idea’s for Her… a vase of roses, a bowl of sand and sea shells with a sea blue candle sitting in the centre.

When I use a candle dedicated to her I will anoint it with olive oil and roll it in powdered cinnamon.

The funniest prank I ever played on someone is....

 I once had this girl convinced that I was a witch and that I flew on a broom every night. 

In the back of my closet was a secret door to my magick room where I did all of my 

magick spells and stuff.

I couldn't show the room to her because normal people couldn't see it, 
only witches can see the magick room. 
She asked me to fly by her room and wave to her so I said I'd try.

The next morning she came running into my bedroom and thanked me for flying by 
her bedroom window and asked me if I saw her waving to me. 
I just stood there looking at her smiling.. 
I had no clue where this girl even lived let alone where her bedroom window was! LOL

The Hills and the Aliens

I was in a chat room a while back. The main topic was on how aliens move among us disguised as normal human beings. They say that we normal humans can’t tell that they are here, but those who have been abducted can tell.I find this concept fascinating and would love to meet one if that is true.. though not in an abduction sort of way. I am a firm believer that they are real, but I am also a scared skeptic because I don’t want to be taken. I’m a “Gotta see it to believe it” when it comes to aliens mingling among us here on Earth.

Aliens known as The Grays are reported as being able to pass through the walls and through windows that are closed as well. There are some folks in the alien world who believe that the Grays are responsible for a majority of the alien abductions that have taken place around the world.

The Grays also have the ability to play with the emotions of humans. It’s said that they know the thoughts and have the ability to pick out the emotions of the human’s that they have abducted. There is a famous abduction case from 1958 of Betty and Barney Hill were rumored to have been abducted by the Grays.

Betty and Barney Hill resided in New Hampshire, in September 1958 they are abducted by Aliens as they were returning home from a vacation. Betty worked as a social worker and Barney was a postal worker, they were also an interracial couple, he was African American and she was Caucasian.

They were missing quite a bit of time and had no memory of what happened to them during that missing time. It was through hypnosis of the couple that their Psychiatrist has stated that he thinks the whole thing came up because of Betty’s dreams of Aliens and UFO’s. There are many who don’t believe that they were abducted at all and have accused them of making things up.

Their family however stand by what the Hills have said and are supporting them despite the fact that both have long since passed on. Barney Hill had died of a brain hemorage on Feb 25,1969 at 46 years old, while Betty passed away of cancer at 85 years old on Oct 17, 2004.
There was a television series in 1996 that is based on their experiences called “Dark Skies”, Barney is portrayed by James Earl Jones and Betty is portrayed by Estelle Parsons.

Royal conspiracy theories : The Queen is a Annunaki

There are some amusing conspiracy theories that surround the British Royal Family. I must say that one of my all time favorite's is that the Queen is a "Annunaki," which is a reptile humanoid.

There is a belief that Lizard people are in the position of world leaders and are the ones who are actually responsible for 9/11 and the Holocaust.

Homemade gifts for Yule

There are so many things you can do for a gift for Yule. Personally, I would much rather get a homemade gift at Yule time than a store bought one.

• Necklaces or any other jewelry made with crystals and other celestial or spiritual icon amulets. You can literally let your imagination go wild with the jewelry making. I have found some beautiful charms at Michael's numerous times. A childhood friend and I used to make necklaces and bracelets for each other. Those are cherished memories that will last my entire life.

• You can make your friend a set of Runes or a Pendulum. To make Runes you can take clear glass gems, the kind you use in fish tanks, take a paint marker and paint the Rune symbols on it. To make a Pendulum, you can use a piece of clear fish string and a crystal. With mine, I took my crystal and a long piece of fish string, placed the crystal on it and folded the string in half with the crystal at the bottom. Then I took some crystal beads that I found at Michael's and placed them onto the string. I found a drawstring bag and that is where I put it whenever I am done using it.

• How about some bath salts? Take some sea salt and add to it some scent. To make this you need 4 cups of Sea Salt, into this mix in several drops of an aromatic bath oil or essential oils of your or her favorite scent.

• What person doesn't like homemade cookies or a cake? You can even put the dry ingredients in a large glass jar. Here's how you do it:

Thoroughly wash and dry the jars and lids. Layer the ingredients in a quart size canning jar in the order listed.

•2 cups flour

•1 tsp salt

•1 tsp baking soda

•3/4 cup brown sugar

•3/4 cup white sugar

•Chocolate chips.

Use enough chocolate chips so the jar is full to the top. I used semi-sweet chocolate chips. Pack down all ingredients, especially the brown sugar!

• There are numerous things you can do with clear Christmas ornaments. You can add some ribbon to it or put some paint inside and swirl it around, once the inside is totally covered sit it upside down to allow the excess paint to drip out. Then put the top on and you can add a ribbon to it.

The Charlie Charlie challenge

Last year my youngest niece came home talking about the #CharlieCharlieChallenge. The game is a knock off version of the Spanish game Juego de la Lapicera. Some believe that Charlie is actually a demon who corresponds to people through the game. 

She learned about it from one of her friends in school who learned about it from someone else, etc... She said they did it in school and "Guess what Lala, it worked for us!"

Basically you use two pencils for the game, on placed on top of the other to form a plus sign. The top pencil is supposed to balance on the bottom one. When you call for Charlie he is supposed to move the top pencil around. I've seen the video's that are around the web and can honestly say they're all faked. 

Halloween Facts

Did you know that Halloween began in Ireland as a Celtic festival of Samhain? Well guess what? It's true! The Celts believe that the boundary between the worlds of living and the dead is at it's thinnest on this night before the new year and ghosts of the dead return to earth to visit their loved ones. 

A Samhain tradition is to take a turnip and carve a scary face in it like we do pumpkins. By carving scary faces and putting a candle into the turnip or pumpkin, it's believed that the nasty spirits that lurk in the night are scared away from the home and those who live within.

In the US the concept of trick or treating started in the 20's and 30's. It's estimated that Americans will spend at least $2.5 billion on Halloween candy, pretty much around $20.10 per household. Then another $43 on decorations and $67 on costumes. This has increased 4.2 percent from last year. 

Pumpkin carving tips

Halloween is coming and I totally can't wait for it! Here's a few tips and tricks for ya to take into consideration when carving your's. 

Did you know that the carving of the scary faces on the pumpkin was thought to keep the bad spirits away from you? 

Pumpkin Carving Tips

~ Rub Vaseline all over the outside of the pumpkins so they look prettier longer - trust me IT WORKS! 

~ Cut the lid at an angel so it doesn't fall into the pumpkin on your candle. 

~ Sprinkle Cinnamon inside of the pumpkin so when you put the candle inside it smells like pumpkin pie. 

~ Cut the bottom instead of the top - now I only SOMETIMES do this because my boys like cutting the top for some reason.

~ Also soak the pumpkin in cold water after cutting. It help keep moisture in the rind.

Space clearing tips and tricks

Space clearing is a shamanic ritual that is used to clear negative energies from a space. It is also used to cleanse the atmosphere in a home or building.
Before you even start this you must believe that this will work. Don't go into it without believing this. Because if you do.. it won't work!

~ Negative energy leaves behind an imprint. When renovations are being done on a house or building that negative energy can be amped up causing it to act up.

~ To perform a clearing you can use sage as well as dried orange peels. Church incense and sweet grass works as well. 

~ You need to clear your space as well as yourself. I don't care what anyone says, you shouldn't clear one without doing the other. 

~When clearing, you should go counter clockwise around a room with the incense burning. As you move around say positive affirmations or chants to dispel anything that doesn't belong in the house or building.

~ You can call on the archangel Michael to remove the negative energies and then call upon the archangel Raphael to heal the homes energies.

~ Always send the negative energies away positively and make sure that you sage the windows and doors to hinder any more negative energies from reentering the home.

~ You can bring love into the house by burning some cinnamon sugar on a piece of charcoal. 

Halloween Challenge #1 : "Inside the Haunted House."

The house across the street from me was where my adopted grandparents lived.

My grandfather passed away in the house surrounded by his wife and 3 children and some of his many grandchildren. He was the most gentlest man I have ever met in my life and was very loved for his good deeds and as well as for his secret stashes of money and expensive coins that were stashed in the nooks and crannies around the house and the $ that was tucked into his bank account.
My grandmother lasted in the house on her own for about 2 years until dementia decided to pay her an unwelcome visit. I would walk to work at the daycare in the mornings. I walked through her front yard and stopped at her front window and waved and blew kisses to her and she back to me. That was my mornings. After work I would stop and check on her and sit and have a cup of tea with her and listen to her stories about times with my grandfather.
My aunt and mom were checking on her through the day and they had to watch her because she would bake something and have the stove on then absentmindedly lay a towel on the stove or an oven mitt. They also had to remove all of the phones because she would call random people in the phone book that she thought she knew and just strike up random conversations with them.
My last time in the house with her was when I walked in to find that she had cook a full meal for two and was in her best pearls and clothes. She called me by my moms name and told me to run home and that my mom was looking for me. She said that she was expecting my grandfather home any time.
I went home and grabbed my mom who went to find my grandmother sitting at the table eating and inquiring when I would be home from work. She didn't remember that I had already been there to see her. My aunt came and moved my grandmother in with her and the house sat empty for years.

I was going over and checking the mail for my aunt because it was piling up. The house felt so lonely and sad. The junk mail went in recycle and all envelopes went into a pile on the counter for her to sort out later. As I was there sorting I heard footsteps on the stairs coming up from the basement. The door was wide open and no one came up out of the door way.
The only thing in the basement was my grandfather wine collection. Whenever he traveled to Europe he would come home with two bottles of wine and have another case shipped to the US. I continued with the mail and heard the footsteps on the stairs again. I started talking to him, telling how much he was missed and that we loved him. Then I started telling him about grandma and how bad she was getting. I asked him to watch over her and to be ready for when her time to go came.
When my grandmother passed I was still going over and dealing with the mail. The house felt different. Like it used to feel when she was alive. The house always felt homey and comfortable when she was alive.
The house is empty again and I haven't made it over to check on it, but every time I see it I think of my grandparents who took my family in when we moved to NY when we had no where to go and who made sure that even though we were "adopted" grandkids, we were thought of us as their own grandkids and treated as such.

God has many faces...

When I was a born again Christian, I believed that you would make my life better, I believed that you loved me.. I believed that the preachers on the tv were working with you to save the world from the likes of Satan.. but I've come to realize that there is no Satan, no devil.. he was just a being the Christians created back in the time of the witchcraft trials. He was created to keep children acting weel behaved and he was used against church goers to keep them going to church. The Christian God let me down miserably, numerous times, then I realized it wasn't God who let me down.. it was the path I was choosing to walk on. 
God has many faces..
I heard that and when I found my path again.. this time the right path.. I found my Goddess and her consort God.. The horned God. My heart is filled with love and I feel them all around me, in the wind, rain, in the trees, everywhere. My Goddess doesn't tell me that if I don't worship only her then I'm going to hell.. nor does she tell me that I need to donate half of my life's savings for some scam run by lying, adulterer preachers. My Goddess tells me she loves me and that she will be here for me. My Goddess doesn't tell me to go force my beliefs onto other's like the Christians do. My Goddess is here for me and for all of my other brother's and sister's she watches over. We are a true family, yes we have our secrets, but as the rede states.. 
Do what thou will.. An it harm none!

My most common dream symbols

I've decided to look up some of the dream symbols that I find in my dreams a lot. These symbols are teeth falling out, falling, flying, being chased.

  Teeth symbolize confidence. From what I found, if your teeth fall out in a dream then it means that your lacking in self confidence. ~ I have a low self esteem so I tend to have this dream when I am at my lowest point. I usually find myself waking up to check to see if my teeth are still there. lol

  Falling in dreams could mean that your holding onto a situation that's taking place in your life. Trust yourself and others to get through it. ~ I have to admit that I love the falling dreams. Every time I fall I get back up and continue on a different path from the one I was on.   Flying in dreams means that you've freed yourself from a problem or situation that has been weighing down on your mind. ~ I have flying dreams at least 4-5 times a week. I know I'm asleep and it really doesn't take much for me to fly. I'm usually flying home and I have found at times that home is not where I thought it was or where it was supposed to be. When I'm flying I have also found myself doing a lot of ballet and figure skating dancing among the clouds. It's amazing.

  When your being chased in a dream it usually means that you have some issues in your life that need to be confronted, but don't know how to do it. ~ I don't have people chasing me in my dreams, I have shadows. Once I had a 6 foot skeleton chasing me. I have yet to summon up the courage to face them, but I'm working on it.

Where's my flying monkeys??

I doesn't take much to really bring out the wicked witch in me because normally I just shrug things off and move on with life. Life is just too damn short to get angry at every little thing all the time.

There are a few things that really get to me and that's child and animal abuse. Those two things really bring out the wicked witch in me.
Ya know it's a parent's job to protect their child from the monsters not subject them to them.
