The Yacht Girl Chronicles?

I was surfing through Quora and came across a post about Meghan Markle being a yacht girl 'aka' a low level actress or model who were paid to lounge around on millionaire's yachts with the rich and famous and that Prince Andrew is one of those rich guys that she "serviced" with her bits and bobs.

There are some images of her floating around on the web from her yacht girl days and in one of them showed Meghan and what looks to be like Prince Andrew. The images were supposedly taken on Epstein's yacht. I'm not going to post them because I have no proof that they're legit.

I mean it's true that Andrew was an acquaintance of Epstein. They're saying that she's using that as leverage to get into the family and as black mail.

Sound far fetched? Yup!
Could it be true? Yup!
Is there actual evidence? NOPE!

I would think that Queen Elizabeth II would have not allowed the marriage to take place if there was blackmail involved. Surely the family could have overcome this scandal, they tend to just wait them out and they soon vanish.

The Coronation of His Majesty King Charles

Yippee! Buckingham Palace has released details of the events due to take place between Saturday 6th and Monday 8th May - the Coronation Weekend! I actually took this day off from work so that I can ensure that I can watch it. I'll have a mini brunch as I watch it as well. lol

The Coronation of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen Consort will be taking place at Westminster Abbey on Saturday 6th May, 2023. I'm really hoping to see many of the long standing traditions and amazing pageantry take place. I've seen video's of Queen Elizabeth II's coronation and it was beautiful.

I know the Brits will be celebrating this historic event the entire weekend. Gathering for meals, having tea and all around celebrating in the streets. I would love to be there and experience it first hand, maybe when William takes the throne I can be there.

Childhood dreams that never came true.

When I was younger I had formed some childhood dreams that never came to be.
I dreamed of being a house wife with 2 kids and a house with a white picket fence.. although now it would be a large wrought iron fence to keep the crazies out.

I wanted a front porch that my "hubby" and I would sit on during the evening and watch the sun set before heading off to bed.
I wanted to have a son first and then a daughter and a couple pups and cats running around with the children.

I wanted to be a writer and publish the novels that ran around in my head. I literally have at least 4 going in there right now. At night I pick one and work it out story wise until I fall asleep. A few of these novels come to me from dreams or past memories. I have so many amazing dreams that I feel the need to create stories from them at time's.

My current life at the moment is complete opposite of that childhood dream. There is no house, no hubby and no kids. There is only me sitting alone in my bedroom while my brother sleeps across the hall and my mom lays downstairs watching the blaring tv.
I don't have the house, the hubby or the children and I'm actually OK with that.
I know this sounds pathetic, but I don't really need them as I am content to be by myself.

I need to learn to love myself and care for myself better.
I need to learn to live for myself and not solely for other's.
I need to learn to let shit go that doesn't serve my best interests.
I need to learn to dream again.

I do write though so I do have that.

The MLM trap...

I belonged to a mlm for many years and I'm so glad that I left. At the time in my life I was living paycheck to paycheck and I was feeling as if I was drowning. I was looking for some help and found the mlm as a possible life preserver. I was 100% wrong!

I spent years in the "business" attempting to sell over priced products to folks who had money and who were mostly healthy and maintaining their weight. Those who actually needed it couldn't afford a 3 month autoship in order to get the discounted prices.

See I was told to start adding people who looked as if they had $$. I was a beginner in the field so I did as the trainers in the group told me to do. I soon found that I literally had nothing in common with those people because I was struggling paycheck to paycheck and most of the ladies I followed were stay at home moms.

Then it was " Tell these momma's that they need this job to stay home with their babies!" We were told that if they really wanted it then suggest that they use a credit card, sell something, borrow the money from someone, etc.. the list goes on and on. It was so toxic I was getting anxious when I would go to the team zooms.

I'm still connected to a few of those trainers and the three main ones are multi millionaires.. the main one is working toward billionaire status. Yes folks they hit that status easily. You know how? They have hundreds and hundreds of people working under them so they can do enough to get by because those under them are the ones bringing them the money.

New Year's Eve as an Introvert

As an adult I have always spent New Year's alone and I'm 100% OK with that. I'm not big on going out to bars or parties and being around a lot of people.  Last year I spent the night home chatting to friends online via Zoom.

4 of us were introverts, 2 were home with children and then 3 were sick and couldn't go out. That was our first gathering and hopefully we'll have another one next year.

Some had wine, beer and others had hot tea and coffee. I was a tea drinker myself. We all bought pizza that night and some had wings while others didn't. I had a slice of buffalo chicken pizza from Perri's Pizza and my tea for my meal.

We talked about our future goals and plans, and we reminisced about the positive things that had happened to us in 2021. Despite the bad stuff that the world is dealing with there were some positive happy things that happened. I try to see the positive in negative situations, sometimes that's hard, but I do try.

I also made a vision board that night revolving around things that I want to accomplish. I refuse to make resolutions because when I don't accomplish something then I tend to get annoyed with myself. So, I just make a vision board. The things I accomplish I remove from the board and add something new.

Sylvester Stallone moviethon

It's just another peaceful Sunday. I'm drinking coffee and munching on crackers. The sun is out and it's slightly cold outside.
I have a huge list of stuff to do and at the moment I haven't even started it. lol Instead I'm watching or rather listening to "The Expendables" movies as I am online.

There are 21 days left until Christmas arrives. I have my shopping done, all I need to do is wrap what I have and get the rest off layaway at my work.

I am a huge fan of them and am slightly confused as to why I literally just watched them yesterday for the first time.
I'm a big fan of Sylvester Stallone and Jason Stratham so really I should have watched these movies when they first came out, but I am not a sit in the movie theater kind of person these days.
I haven't been to a movie theater in almost 10 years. At the moment it's more like I'm listening to the first movie like one would listen to books on tape. The next movie is Sly's Samaritan

You you just can't make this stuff up....

Michael Myers came into the store and scared the crap out of Sue, one of our SCA's. All she saw was a man with white and gray face wearing all black and carrying a butcher knife. She wasn't sure if it was a real knife but it sure looked real to her.
Sorry, but I just can't stop laughing it's just so funny.... I wrote the report up as a "possible theft" but it's just some guy dressed as Michael Myers is shopping for children shoes. She has no idea who a bunch of the horror monsters are so it threw her.

There were so many folks in the mall dressed in costumes, children as well. Another guy came into the store and was dressed as Freddy Krueger. He had on the outfit, claws and a mask so I made sure to let our Sue know that it's just a guy in the Halloween costume so she didn't get scared.

Then we received a visit from a woman who kind of has a reputation around the mall as the mall hooker. Yes I did say hooker. I watched her for 2 hours, she was in the store for 6 hours straight. One of the guys who works with us is mall security so he called his buddies and they came and escorted her out of the store. Turns out she has a lifetime ban and isn't allowed in the mall at all.

Let me tell you you just can't make this stuff up.... Happy Halloween folks!

Covid Day 4

I'm feeling somewhat better, but not much. My body doesn't ache as much any more, I do have a fever off and on again. One minute I'm freezing and the next I'm roasting.

My head still feels like it's full of fluff and and it hurts. Excedrin extra strength is helping and as is Mucinex. I'm just all around feeling super uncomfortable with myself.

I hate being sick and I miss going to work. I ordered 8 free Covid tests so I'm hoping they show up tomorrow.
I want to take one tomorrow before even thinking of going to work on Friday. I won't take a chance with anyone else getting this. It really sucks big time!

Well that was an awkward ride...

I took a Lyft home tonight and the driver was a bit... umm well.. I was left feeling very uncomfortable during the ride. This is the only one that I've had with Lyft before.

He started asking personal questions about myself and before I know it he's talking about taking me to Pennsylvania to flea markets, etc..  he kept turning around in his seat and swerving.

I made the mistake of mentioning that when I retire I want to get a converted a van and travel and this driver said that he had a van conversion that he got rid of and that he would travel with me. I mentioned that with him in his own van then it would work.

He asked if I was single and I said yes by choice and he said that he was 78 and that his body may look old, but he could still do everything that a man could do. He was good looking, but if he wasn't so persistent and pushy like he was then I would have most likely gone out with him on a date.

Sooo you dropped your phone...

A woman came into the store and was looking for the T-Mobile store located in the mall. I told her where to find it and about an hour later she was walking back toward the parking lot door.

I asked her how things went and she literally told me "I dropped my phone on the ground in a puddle of water and I don't know how it got broken."

Ummm..  really you don't know how it broke? You literally dropped it in water and you don't know how it broke?? I swear some of these people really floor me.

Pagan Veiling

A former coworker who literally only lasted 1 day came in with a headscarf on and refused to take it off saying it was part of her religion, she actually was NOT asked to take it off as my boss simply asked her the meaning behind wearing it. She said she was pagan and she started in on my boss in a very rude way about that Pagans wear veils for protection.

I AM a Pagan and I was absolutely offended at the way this child acted. I call her a child because she acted like one. Some of my coworkers know that I'm a Pagan and were baffled because I literally have never heard of veiling for protection. So I came home and did some research on it.

What is Pagan veiling?

Pagan veiling is the act of fully or partially covering one’s head, there are no right or wrong ways of veiling. It all comes down to personal choice. So the reasons for veiling are various, each person has their own reasons for doing so... in essence it's a personal choice.

~ To connect with their chosen Deity.
~ Some do it to cover their crown chakra to protect their energy and powers.
~ Some wear the head scarves as a connection to their craft and to honor their ancestors.

A Pondering Mind

Things at work have been so hectic. While I love my job and am very grateful for the position and the money I earn, I truly do admit that I really miss my alone time. I went from working 12 hours a week to now getting 37+ hours. I went from working 3 days a week to now working 5. I went from having 4 days of me time to now getting two.

I know this sounds completely odd, but believe me there are days when I really need it. There are days when I just need to escape into the solitude of my own space for a few days before reemerging refreshed and ready to take on what's coming next. When I'm at work I am always focused on doing my job and helping others out if needed.

I am hoping that once we get a set schedule for the LP team at my work then I'm hoping to get my days off next to each other. I think that would help considerably because then I wouldn't have to rush about getting my stuff ready for work the next am.

Maybe I'm just weird or just overthinking about things as I usually do. I try not to, but it's just hard for me to quiet my mind when I start to muddle on something.

It's laundry day.. so many socks!!

The next time I move there will be a washer and drier accessible in the complex or I'll have a washer at least. I don't mind hanging my clothes up to dry on a drying rack in front of an open window.

At the moment I'm handwashing clothes and hanging them on a drying rack and on hooks around my room to dry. Valley Brook Townhomes has a few townhomes that have washer and dryer hook ups, but not all of them do. The one I live in has no hook ups.

So I tend to hand wash my clothes in the bathroom sink every week so I have my work clothes ready for me to use during the week. I have neglected a lot of other clothes so my goal for this 2 day weekend is to get all of my clothes washed, or most of them.

I have sooo much socks that I really don't need to buy any more. I have at last 50 pairs that need to be washed. I always bought socks when there were 10 pairs for $1.99 after being marked down. Great deal ya know and you can't have too many socks... or so I thought because I have far too many pairs of socks!

Workin the night shift!

Tonight was my first night shift at work in over 10 years and it was a doozey.
Also Burlington has been running strong for 50 years! Woot!

A guy came in and was looking at luggage. He was upset that all of the ones he liked had women's names on them. He said he couldn't get them because he didn't want his girl to think he was cheating on her with someone named "Juicy" or "Nicole". I just stood there with a confused look on my face and had to walk away. I seriously just don't understand people these days.

We had two people come in 5 minutes before the store closed to shop. We were all literally ready to leave and they wanted to shop! The guy comes in every night and does this. Every night. We ended up not getting out until 10:15 because of them. You would think that if the doors are locked then the store is closed.

Nothing like eating a dinner of ramen noodles at 11pm. I had a pepperoni pretzel at work around 4:30 so it was considered more of a snack.

Active Shooter training tips

As the full time person on the asset protection team I have had to do some training. Well we all did it to be honest, but I tend to do a wee bit more. There have been quite a few active shooters as of late in stores and I will admit that it scares me.

Personally I carry pepper spray on me at all times. I need to get new spray because what I have is over 10 years old, but for now it will do.

The thought of it happening at my work to coworkers and really scary and I will admit to having nightmares about it. During the training that I watched they gave some great instructions and I'm going to share them here.

In case of an active shooter the first thing you need to do is RUN! If you can get to an exit or emergency exit then do so. Grab everyone you can and go! Once you're outside then call the police.

If you can't run then you need to HIDE! Do not hide in large groups because you will be spotted easier that way. Hide in breakrooms, bathrooms, offices. Hide in clothing racks and anywhere else you can find a spot.

If there is a large group of you then you can FIGHT! Grab anything you can get your hands on, slam into them hard with shopping carts, grab fixtures and hit them. Do what you can to get the weapon away from them.

When the police do come into the building then put your hands up and follow their instructions.
There are flaws in every plan, but with everything that's happening here in NY as of late it's better to know what to do than to not and be sorry.

8 ways I re-use my candle jar's.

When I was old enough to burn candles I had so many lit up around my bedroom at once. Back in 1998 we had a really bad ice storm... The Great Ice Storm of 1998 as it was called. While everyone else was downstairs in the warm living room sleeping on the mattresses on the floor I was snoozing up in my bedroom with my goldfish Jaws nd my brother slept in his room as well with like 5 of his friends.
He lived through the ice storm and for a carnival fish he actually lived for about 10 or more years. I had around 20 candles lit around my room, those long glass pillar candles that burned for hours on end. I had 5 burning on the headboard of my bed where Jaws' tank was. His tank was awfully warm when I woke up the next am. I had to go to work so he ended up coming downstairs where it was warm 24/7.

I have so many empty candle jars floating around my place, and they are all being reused. A hand full of them have loose leaf tea and tea bags in them, while other's have random office supplies and batteries in them. A few jars have pasta and oatmeal in them as well. There are so many ways you can reuse them!
I have reused the jars to make new candles. My favorite thing to do is buy wax tarts and use that wax as candles. I tie a wick around a pencil and place it in the jar then dumps wax tarts around it. After the tarts melt I'll add another set of them of the same scent and melt them. I usually do it in layers and it takes me about a week to fill a medium sized jar candle or little plastic tea light containers.
I have done layers before, but that can be extremely messy and I have melted large Yankee candle jar candles and poured the wax into smaller jars. I love using the Vanilla cupcake or sugar cookies with another scent. I have done Christmas candles by using two Christmas scented candles, melted one and poured it in the jar and once it was dry I added another scent on top and let that dry.

~ Pop in cotton pads or q-tips.
~ Use it as a bedside catch all for lip balm, ear phones, etc..
~ Decant your bath salts.
~ Add some flowers and use as a vase.
~ Re-use it as a candle holder with tea lights and pillar candles.
~ Store matches or lighters.

A broke girl's guide to handling a large sum of money.

Sometimes luck is on our side and we find ourselves with a major windfall of money. Maybe you won a lawsuit, received an inheritance or even won the lotto. There are things that you should do to ensure you and your money is safe. Sounds crazy I know, but let me tell you I've heard crazy stories about lottery winners and in this day and age you never know what will happen!

I have been making a game plan for when I win the lotto and yes I will win! I am claiming this to the Universe every day! This lady has plans! I also have a notebook that I have those plans written down in. Some of the plans change of course. I went from buying a home on the lake to buying a van to live in and travelling the US. lol

Here is My list of things to do...

1. If possible tell no one! Once you make it known that you have money then you're going to have people coming out of the woodwork. Former friends and family. Old boy/girlfriends and charities. Call someone you Know will be asking for money and ask them for $500. When they don't give it to you then you'll have a good reason not to give them money. I would only be telling my siblings and that's it.

2. Go somewhere secret and tell no one! If you need to tell someone then make sure it's someone you trust. Relax and give yourself time to process what has happened. Then start making a plan of action. I would have my notebook with me and I would be making phone calls. I literally have phone numbers in my area of accountants and banks to go to.

3. Savings! I have a savings account set up and it's where a majority of the money will go. My goal is to be able to live comfortably off of the interest. I'll have a budget and will be taking care of family as well. Whether I'll be living in the USA is another story. I would even consider moving to the United Kingdom across the pond or even to Canada. I would definitely NOT stay in NY.

I have been in between whether I would keep my job or not, I would most likely keep it for a while longer, but I would definitely retire by 55 if that was an option. I do enjoy my work and honestly it would be hard for me to leave. I have some amazing friends there and I would miss them terribly.

Trust thy intuition folks!

Can I just say.. if your intuition is telling you to do something then do it!
Mine was telling me to double check that I was on the schedule today.

There have been so many times this year alone that my intuition was yelling at me about things and I ignored it. My loss there, bit losses as well! I am making it mandatory for myself to keep in tune with my intuition.

... Vlad ...

I used to be married... not happily mind you, but marriage isn't about being happy all the time is it? At least I wasn't alone. I hate being alone.

He changed me so that he wouldn't be alone anymore during his walks through life times. Yet when his wife reincarnates, he finds her and leaves me to be with her until she dies. Same old routine that I'm told to deal with.

I am left alone to wander until he finds me again. He loves me as long as she isn't alive. When she is his love belongs to her. My anger is labeled as childish and I'm told that I don't understand. No I don't that's why I'm angry!

Rourke says that I need to leave him the way he leaves me. Give him the hard choice... Me or Her. I can't do that because if he were to choose her, then no human would be safe from my rage.

"Oh you shouldn't have!"

I'm in a Etiquette & Manners group and one of the ladies was talking about how people respond to getting a gift. Here's what she said...

"Why does it bother me so much when I give a gift to someone and they respond “you shouldn’t have”. The next time it happens I am taking it back, and saying sorry, I didn’t know. I know it’s petty, but it really annoys me."

I was taught that if someone gives you a gift then you should gift them in return. So if someone gives me a gift on my birthday then I should do the same on theirs. Sometimes that's just not possible financially.

I was also raised hearing my mom says "Oh you shouldn't have!" when she would receive a random gift. So I do tend to say that when I get a random gift because I learned it from her while growing up. We do learn our manners from our parents, well some of us do anyway.

My friends and loved one's know that when I give random gifts it's because I love them and were thinking of them at the time of purchasing it. I also don't expect anything in return.

She took the words "You shouldn't have" as being negative. When people often respond that way out of being flattered, speechless, or overwhelmed; most importantly, they feel honored and a little embarrassed because they aren't exchanging a gift. it certainly doesn't mean that she or he doesn't appreciate the effort that went into the gift giving.

Surprisingly, gift giving requires some grace on the part of the giver, especially when an expected response from the recipient isn’t returned. It’s really supposed to be about the recipient, not the giver, too.
