Covid day 5

Well it seems as though Covid isn't done with me as of yet. I was supposed to go to work tomorrow, but felt uncomfortable going without taking a test to ensure I was Covid free.

It's weird, but I'm kind of going stir crazy being at home and stuck inside this whole time. Normally I enjoy being home, but normally I don't feel as if I've been hit by a bloody bus a few times.

My body aches are back again, but on the bright side my head isn't full of fluff like it has been feeling. It seems to be a lot clearer than it has been. I've been taking two extra strength Excedrin daily so I'm thinking that is doing the work there.

Covid Day 4

I'm feeling somewhat better, but not much. My body doesn't ache as much any more, I do have a fever off and on again. One minute I'm freezing and the next I'm roasting.

My head still feels like it's full of fluff and and it hurts. Excedrin extra strength is helping and as is Mucinex. I'm just all around feeling super uncomfortable with myself.

I hate being sick and I miss going to work. I ordered 8 free Covid tests so I'm hoping they show up tomorrow.
I want to take one tomorrow before even thinking of going to work on Friday. I won't take a chance with anyone else getting this. It really sucks big time!

Covid Day 3

Covid is still being a spoiled brat and I seriously want to biotch slap it a few times until it makes up it's mind as to what symptoms they are going to toss around at me. I actually felt a bit better this morning when I woke up. The brat must have realized that it was slacking so....

1.) One minute I'm sweating and too hot  so I pull on a pair of shorts and the next I'm pulling on a pair of sweat pants and sweat jacket. I just can't win with this one.

2.) I have no appetite at all, but I am forcing myself to drink at least 10 full 32oz bottles of water. I will force myself to eat a granola bar here and there, but all in all I'm just not hungry at all. I bought some sugar free water flavor to help me drink more water.

3.) The brat decided that I must always have a horrid taste in my mouth despite the fact that I brush my teeth in the am and around noon and before bed... after an hour the taste is back. I hate the sick taste that comes with being sick... it's seriously nauseating.

4.) I gave up on attempting to keep my sleep schedule because I'm just so tired. I am still getting up at 7am every morning as that's my usual time to rise on work days. I'll deal with getting it back on track after I get better.

I think it wouldn't be so upsetting if I didn't have to deal with my mom being sick as well. She keeps calling me to go down and help her with something and I keep reminding her that I have Covid and can't be around her! She just doesn't seem to care. I spent almost $100 on meds, Lysol and wipes so we are both on Mucinex at the moment.

Covid Day 2

Covid is being a spoiled brat. I feel achy all over, random fevers, my head is stuffy and hurting. I have literally no appetite and am forcing myself to eat and drink. Luckily my taste buds haven't abandoned me, for which I am grateful.

I'm tired a lot, but I'm trying to keep myself awake as much as I can so that I actually sleep at night. I'm trying my best to stick to my usual sleep schedule for work. It took me a long time for my body to get used to the schedule in the first place so I don't want any set backs because of Covid.

My mom and brother are both sick as well. Mind you he's been sick for most of August, I wouldn't be surprised if he already had Covid and didn't know it. So all 3 of us are in Quarantine! I'm in my bedroom, he's in his bedroom and mom's downstairs.

Covid Day 1

I left work early yesterday because I was really feeling horrible. I mean really horrible. My head was pounding and I was having a hard time thinking straight. I also started to get wobbly. I took the bus to work and a Lyft home. Once I got home, I ran upstairs and found myself kneeling before the porcelain throne emptying the meager contents of my stomach.

Today is day 1 and I called out because I felt worse. I took a test and low and behold I have it. After a short talk with my boss I was yanked off the schedules for the next 5 days. Yay me! no not really this bloody sucks big time!  My head hurts, body aches and I have a random fever. I'm also super tired a lot.
