The Pendulum

One of the easiest forms of divination, the pendulum can be made of just about any ring on a piece of ribbon, or a necklace that is worn alot can be used. I use my pentacle as a pendulum because my necklace is infused with my energies. My neices have used a pendulum and the oldest has spoken with the child spirit that hangs in my home. That story will come later though. The pendulum is best done when asking yes or no questions.

I will usually start out by holding the pendulum in front of me with my power hand {the hand you write with is your power hand}. I will clear my mind and ask if anyone is around me. The pendulum will begin to swing in a circle, this circle would start out small then it would get wider and wider until the pendulum would tap against my arm. First you need to determine the direction the pendulum will swing for yes and no. For me yes is back and forth and No is sideways. When you are done with your pendulum make sure you thank whom ever has come to chat with you.  Especially if they helped you. This is the polite thing to do and I'm sure it's much appreciated.
