Baking cookies!

There's a saying in my house.. "If the smoke alarm goes off then that means Lisa's baking again!" 

I am really off on my baking game these days because it seems like everything tends to get a little too crispy if you know what I mean. I need a timer, that's what I really need.

Many years ago I was baking cookies almost weekly, then I went into daycare and the baking pretty much stopped. I was just too busy to bake anything!

Now I'm wanting to bake more and to have cookies to munch on and enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee. I'm also hearing that smoke alarm go off a lot! 

I had a cook book that had a lot of experiments and tips written in it. I need to find that and my baking will be on point again.
