I am a huge fan of British comedies. American comedies not so much, but the British one's make me laugh hysterically. One of the show's is Keeping up Appearances. This is a show that I never get tired of watching because it's literally hilarious!
The show is about a lower middle class woman named Hyacinth Bucket {Patricia Routledge}, aka Bouquet, who considers herself to be upper class. Her poor husband Richard {Clive Swift} once worked for the council, but was forced to retire and was stuck home with her much to his dismay.
The show is all about her trying to climb the social ladder while hiding the fact that she has two poor sisters who live in council housing. She has three sisters, two Rose {Shirley Stelfox/Mary Millar} and Daisy {Judy Cornwell} who are lower class and one is rich, Violet, who married a turf accountant and has a Mercedes and large house with room for a pony.

She also has neighbors Elizabeth {Josephine Tewson} and Emmett {David Griffin} as well as other people in her neighborhood who she interacts with on the show. They all see right through her charade, but simply smile and nod at her then talk snootily behind her back.
