Goals and Gratitude!


I have a monthly ritual that I started doing this year. On the first day of each month I make a list of goals that I want to achieve for the month. Last month I achieved 10 out of 15 of my goals. The left over were then transferred to the next month. 

They are written and posted on my wall in front of my desk where I see them every day. I reread them each time I sit down and before I even open the laptop I'll close my eyes and visualize myself accomplishing them. 

It took me a while to figure this out and to get the hang of it. I will admit that I have battled a negative mindset almost my entire childhood. I've been trying to fix it my entire adult life, but when you deal with. 

Not only do I do the goals, but I have also developed a gratitude mindset. Each morning when my eyes open and my sleepiness fades I go over what I'm grateful for. Waking up that morning is on the list! Not only do I start my days with gratitude I also end the day with it as well.
