So much is happening... My work place is making some changes and while the major one doesn't affect me, the smaller one does. They decided to get rid of all full time positions and cut everyone down to part time. I have always been part time so this doesn't affect me at all.
I knew this was coming, it was only a matter of time before they did this. This way they don't have to pay out health insurance, etc.. for employee's. So there are employee's who have been there over 20 years as full timer's who were making around 37-40 hours getting their hours butchered down to 12 hours a week!
My position at work on the markdown team was terminated so now I have no position and am floating between two area's. Markdowns and receiving... yay... I will end up working various hours and possibly Saturdays. I already work on Sunday so let's take Saturday away as well shall we?
I'm going into work tomorrow and updating my availability to Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday 7:30 to 1. I'm not playing their games and this company will play games with you until you give up and quit out of sheer frustration. I've seen it done numerous times.
