So, there is a video out of one of the Queen's foot guards knocking over a child while on patrol outside the Tower of London and stepping over him. This video came from TikTok and has well over 3.8 million views and has a caption regarding that "nobody is safe". What BS!!
The public was warned ahead of time that the guards are coming, and this child literally got in front of them. Where were the child's parent's and why wasn't the child ushered out of the way by said parents? The child was actually in this soldier's way, and the soldier wasn't able to stop. Those guards are not allowed to stop their march until they reach their destination.
It's sad that someone has to remind people of this but when you visit another country do learn about the customs. If you are visiting say the Tower of London, read up on it and learn about what to expect. In each country there is etiquette that should be followed. As a tourist, learn that etiquette so you don't have any mishaps like this.
Ignorant tourists give their home countries bad raps because you don't take the time to learn about where you're going and how to act once you're there. Show some respect for where you're visiting!
