I had my youngest niece ask me that question many years ago. She was watching a movie with her mum and two people kissed on it. She asked her mum who said that it was just a natural thing to do. She asked me and I told her.. “Let’s Google it!” This is what we found out!
According to psychologists, who performed a study on the topic, the reason we close our eyes is because if we don’t then we won’t fully experience the joy of the occasion. See our brain finds it very hard to focus on the sensation of the kiss because it’s distracted by our other senses. So that is why we must close our eyes when we kiss.
