Maya the Bee Controversy

There's a kiddie show on Netflix that has been getting some serious slack because of one of the show Maya the Bee.
 Parent's are seriously flipping out because of this image that is drawn inside of a log on the show. Some penis graffiti!

I don't understand how the image could be missed when going through editing.
Someone is seriously NOT doing their job correctly to let this be missed, let alone for someone to even draw it in a children's show.
