After my kitties passed away I found myself with a big tub of cat food. I literally bought a big bag of food for them two weeks before they both passed.
I had been contemplating getting a new cat, but I'm still not sure as to whether I'm ready for another pet.. while I had been debating the cat food sat unused.
Instead of throwing it away I have been feeding the squirrels with it all winter long. Hey if they'll eat it then I'll keep feeding it to them.

My brother lives with us with his cat, but Vince has a special cat food that he eats. This one wasn't a good fit for him.
