This is a pretty good TV show, kind of amusing. I'm really enjoying it. Chai Hansen is in it as a God named the Monkey King. He does a great job in this role. The series follows a young woman who is pretending to be a monk and three Gods, Monkey, Sandy and Pigsy, as they search for the Scrolls of Wisdom.
Monkey scattered the Scrolls across the lands at the final request of the Master who was killed by a demon. This was done to keep them away from the demons. Monkey was captured by the other Gods and was accused of murdering the Master, he was then exiled in a mountain for 500 years.
When he was finally released the demons had taken over the ancient and fantastical land where they lived and were running it. he and the monk and other Gods set out to collect the scrolls before the demons get their hands on them.
