Where do you get your blog topic idea's?

I have had a few folks ask me where I find inspiration for my posts. I always tell them the same thing over and over again.

There's inspiration for topics to write about everywhere you look.
Conversations you over hear, things you hear on the tv or read in newspapers or magazines.
 

I get a good amount of inspiration from my emails and yep even some creative writing idea's from my spam box. lol

I have a notebook that I write my topic idea's in and when I need something to write about, I go through the book and pick something out. So what about you.. how do you get your writing topics?
