I am a huge lister. I make lists for everything from groceries to what needs to be done daily. I found lists from when I was in high school when I was unpacking boxes from the move. They were long and not a lot was crossed off.
I've written lists on tissues, napkins, post it notes and index cards. I've written them on my jeans while sitting in class or on my hands. They were all over the place!
Just from looking at all of these lists I've realized that I didn't do a lot of crossing off after accomplishing things that I did.
Then I found another list and this was a list of things that I had actually done with the words
"Feeling Accomplished" scrawled across in red ink. After finding these I started making Done lists instead and I feel a lot better at the end of the day than I did with the to do lists. I feel more accomplished when I make the Done lists and I'm not as hard on myself if I don't get everything accomplished that I feel I should.
