This coughing is driving me crazy

I don't smoke or anything, I just have a tickle in my throat and I'm just coughing. I get this every single spring when the weather changes.

Can you imagine the looks I get when I cough out in public? People act like I committed a bloody crime or something.. I just have a stupid spring co
ugh! lol

I am using cough syrup and drops, but when those wear off and I'm coughing then people move away rather quickly. Only one person has ever said anything and when I mentioned that it was a spring cough she laughed and said her husband gets that every spring.
