Last night I thought I came up with a great bedtime ritual that I'm going to attempt to stick to. I was super tired when I came home from work and was falling asleep while online. So, at 5 I took a shower, ate pasta and butter around 6:00.
Around 6:30 I took 3 allergy pills and at 7 I was in bed and fell right to sleep! Over the past couple of months, I haven't been able to sleep through the night and last night I was up at 9 and 2am and then I woke up at 7:15 when my alarm went off for work!
Reading a book before bed doesn't work for me, it simply keeps me awake all night. Meditation on the other hand does work. I close my eyes to meditate, and I fall asleep. So, I do my meditating at night when I'm in bed.
