DiY Sunburn relief spray

Summer is here and that means we'll be spending more time outside in the sun! If you're like me you tend to forget the sunscreen at times and get a dreaded sunburn.

You need a carrier oil, I always use coconut oil as I love the smell. You can use aloe gel as well. Essential oils are helpful as well as they provide anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anti-microbial treatment to the skin.

Here's a list of oils you can choose from.. Chamomile, Lavender, Peppermint,Tea tree oil.

Once you’ve chosen your essential oil, DIY a sunburn-soothing concoction.

~ Mix 1 to 3 drops essential oil with 1 teaspoon aloe gel and 1 cup water. Pour it into a spray bottle and spray it on the sunburn.

~ Combine 1 or 2 drops essential oil into 2 tablespoons coconut oil to make an ointment.
